I thought “The Firm” by John Grisham was pretty exciting. I also thought “Coma” by Robin Cook was an engrossing book.

Anything by B. A. Paris is good. “The Winner” by David Baldacci was really good and “A Simple Plan” by Scott Smith. Which by the way was made into a movie with Billy Bob Thorton. Good movie, but Its a page turner of a book.
If you like mysteries and animals, read the Creed series books by Alex Kava. Excellent Reads! Or if you like laughter, how about the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich.
