My favoritest bookbuddy, @Polly, sent this to me and I loved loved loved it. The great thing about cross country book exchanging is that you get a selction of things you may have not picked for yourself and it is always a pleasant surprise.
I’m reading the first one and struggling to get into it. I’m going to try again in a few weeks because I think it has to do with my mood. Also, after discovering the TV show just now, I’m on hold at the library for the first season. ?
Such a great series!
The series is refreshingly simple and interesting, pulling in the reader to “hear” the conversations. Love them.
I started reading the series when a friend was living in Africa; looks like it’s time to get back into the books.
I love listening to the audio version of this series. Great for trips in the car.
I got tired of them after reading a few in quick succession. Maybe like Elizabeth Butcher it’s time to go back to them.
Then after you read the books, watch the HBO series…it’s fantastic!!! <3
I loved it and that is what took me to the books.
I didn’t know there was an HBO series! Cool beans!

I love this series!
I love the series, but this latest one wasn’t one of my favorites.
I’ve read them all to date. Love Mma Ramotswe
I loved the books and the tv series.
Wish they haddent canceled it
@Cassandra, me too!
I don’t have HBO, but have read all of this series. I feel like they are family.
I feel like I’ve been to Botswana
Makes me want to go!
Definitely
My library has the series available on dvd, so you may be able to watch it even without HBO.
I’m glad you like them. I found them… underwhelming, to say the least.

Me, too!
Great series, I read them between heavyweight topics.
