@Crystal If you’re looking for a new author to read, I’ve written three books (one young adult to adult, one sci-fi/fantasy, and one children’s book). All of my books are available on Amazon.
I just did this with Little Fires Everywhere! It was so nice to get that into a book again. Before Little Fires I was reading Universal Harvester and it was so boring it took me 6 months to get through, despite Kindle estimating the book would take 5 hours to read. Ha. What book was it??
lol a friend of mine does it regularly, and it happened to me too! it was a nicholas spark’s book, and here i am, as normal as anyone! (i guess) what was your book?
Ive only done that once. I started at like midnight fell asleep picked it up in the morning n read all day that was The Hating Game. Still remember it and read that like May
I actually did that a couple of times, both being books that are in the Chronicles of Narnia series (I think it was Prince Caspian and The Voyage of the Dawn Treader). I just couldn’t put them down because the story was so different from the movies.
I can’t believe I has never read it before! I finally got around to it because of my library non-fiction book club! What an inspiring man Morrie was ❤?❤
If it we’re not for sleep last night. I could of finished Mitch albom newest book in under 4 hours. But. Sleep over took me and could not keep myself awake. But I finished it this morning. Under 1/2 hour. Usually I can read a James Patterson book in a day.
I read New Moon in 8 hours because I was subbing and had checked the book from the school library and I had to return it at the end of the day. I could read all day because it was a sowing class and all the girls came in and worked on their projects independently. After I took attendance, I was free to read. It was a great day.
@Brandy my best friend did the same thing, but just because she refused not to. She had it preordered months in advance. I think she might have even taken off work.
Madison Woodard Ohh..the only downside I can see that you will finish the series soon and then you may have a book hangover if you loved it too much haha. But that is okay I guess….a new book waits for you ? What are you reading by the way….I tried to find in the comments but couldn’t.
@Nita I did love it too much and I’m trying to finish it before work tomorrow I have 90 pages to go wish me luck! I’m reading The Summer I Turned Pretty trilogy by. Jenny Han.
Madison Woodard Ohh….I read this series years ago and I did enjoy it. In fact I went through the trilogy very fast myself! And all the very fast….may nothing comes between you and those 90 pages ??
Only worried if you have nothing else to read
Tricia Montgomery no I’m good on that my TBR is safe and I have one more book in the trilogy.
Then no problems!
When you read 2 or 3 in one day then maybe but only maybe lol
@Crystal nope only one but it is a trilogy so we will see.
@Madison enjoy the books. I ran out of reading material again so I’m on the search for a new author lol
@Crystal I’m reading Jenny Han she is YA but raw and good.
@Madison I’ll look her up. I’m not picky at this point lol
@Crystal yeahhh I’m reading a mixture of things or in my TBR pile.
@Crystal If you’re looking for a new author to read, I’ve written three books (one young adult to adult, one sci-fi/fantasy, and one children’s book). All of my books are available on Amazon.
Must have been a really good read
@Bokamoso oh yeah it was really and luckily there is one more in the series but I will probably blow through that one too.
I can only do that if they’re short.
@SaraBeth it was pretty short like 290 pages.
I just did this with Little Fires Everywhere!
It was so nice to get that into a book again. Before Little Fires I was reading Universal Harvester and it was so boring it took me 6 months to get through, despite Kindle estimating the book would take 5 hours to read. Ha.
What book was it??
@CM The Summer I Turned Pretty trilogy by. Jenny Han it was very raw and emotional.
lol a friend of mine does it regularly, and it happened to me too! it was a nicholas spark’s book, and here i am, as normal as anyone! (i guess)
what was your book?
@Zeineb The Summer I Turned Pretty trilogy it was soo good.
The nearest I’ve come to that is Praise Song for Butterflies which I read in two days. So did my friend.
I do it fairly often
I was just off from work this week it will be a lot harder next week.
I feel the same way when I do it. Like, am I a weirdo or just super into books lol
If it would be war and peace…you should! If it’s a book of 150 pages that’s ok
@Diogo it was 290 not horrible.
Ive only done that once. I started at like midnight fell asleep picked it up in the morning n read all day that was The Hating Game. Still remember it and read that like May
@Allison I love reading all day like this.
I miss coming across a book good enough for me to do that
My last book took me a month and it was short this trilogy is taking me a week.
Yes.. if you do that every day it’s quite expensive …
I actually did that a couple of times, both being books that are in the Chronicles of Narnia series (I think it was Prince Caspian and The Voyage of the Dawn Treader). I just couldn’t put them down because the story was so different from the movies.
I love doing that, I haven’t had time for that in a very long time!
@Libby yeah I haven’t either it’s amazing one more book in this trilogy.
Not really. ?
Nah?
Been there, done that, 7 books in a day
No
no
Get it, girl! ❤️?
@Jaydyn thank you it’s funny my other book took me a month but this trilogy is taking me a week! ??
heck yes! I love finding good reads that you’re just able to fly through❤️
@Jaydyn I know I had read her other trilogy but I like this one soo much better!
I can’t wait to be done with college finals so I can immerse myself in books??
@Jaydyn ohh I wish I could go to college and just read and study and learn and yes it’s the best feeling!
It’s the best! ???
Worried about what?
@Mandy that I read it too fast and I will explode!
@Madison yes you should definitely be worried about that
@Mandy ok good I knew I had to be worried about something today. ?
@Madison I’m going to add that to my list too in case I run out of things to worry about 😉
Mandy Mash Hamon you can never run out of things to worry about especially combustion. 😉
@Madison absolutely #1 on my list always. Viral meningitis is a close second
Dude no! You should be proud! 🙂
@Rhonda thank you I was on chapter 6 and then I was on chapter 26 in like an hour it was crazy!
Nope! Feel proud and reward yourself with another one!
@Lysa I’m just going to reward myself with the last book in this trilogy. 😉
@Madison Solid plan ?
Nope not at all! I read them in one sitting ?
No?? Why would that be worrying?
@Caylynn because I read it too fast!
@Madison I don’t think so ?. If you enjoyed it then it doesn’t matter
You should rejoice and ask yourself ask yourself why did it take so long for you to do this amazing thing.
@Annette oh I have done it before just not for a long time.
No!
Just did that yesterday with Tuesdays With Morrie! It was a quick read.
I love that book!
I love that book too
I read it in a day too
And that day was a Tuesday
I can’t believe I has never read it before! I finally got around to it because of my library non-fiction book club! What an inspiring man Morrie was ❤?❤
If it we’re not for sleep last night. I could of finished Mitch albom newest book in under 4 hours. But. Sleep over took me and could not keep myself awake. But I finished it this morning. Under 1/2 hour.
Usually I can read a James Patterson book in a day.
This is a rhetorical question ?
@Deborah of course it is.
You should be proud!!!! Way to go!!!! ?
Depends, was there anything else you had to do today that you forgot about? LOL
@Laura nope that would be tomorrow.
@Madison Excellent. Keep reading. ? I’ll be doing the same after exams are over.
Of course not! Reading is basically the one magical thing that counts both as relaxation AND productivity.
No what you should do is share some of that focus lol. I cant hardly read anymore because there are always 700 other things I need to be doing.
Only if you didn’t have to go to the bathroom for the whole stretch.
Nah. I once read a 800 page book in an entire day. Once I’m into a book, I don’t like putting them down lol
I wish I could do that!
@Janeta I don’t do it as often as I would like.
@Madison life is busy I know – trust me ?
Life goals!
I love doing that x
Worried? What about- running out of books? Lol
@Brandy I could never run out of books.
lol Same
No, I love doing that, but then it kind of makes me sad, because it was such a good book and there is no more of it.
I read one in 36 hours in between work dinner and sleep lol
Haha my husband stares at me like I’m an alien when I do that. I think it’s normal when you get really into a book!
Sounds like a great way to spend the day. I try but always seem to fall asleep.
When I’m on vacation and have no time restraints I can do that. It’s lovely!
I can normally but in a bit of a slump at the minute I’m still reading but not managing to read as many as normal
No. Probably needed to escape for awhile. Good job! What book?
@Linda I always do and The Summer I Turned Pretty trilogy.
Depends. If it was War and Peace, you might want to check to make sure your reading nook isn’t a wormhole outside of time and space.
@Niffer it already is my reading nook is usually my bed.
No.
Not at all
Must have been a great book!
@Kelly it really was but I’m not done with the series.
I would think that’s a good thing and hope the series continues to be so good! ?
Kelly Marie I just finished it but now I have a book hangover
@Madison oh oh
I read New Moon in 8 hours because I was subbing and had checked the book from the school library and I had to return it at the end of the day. I could read all day because it was a sowing class and all the girls came in and worked on their projects independently. After I took attendance, I was free to read. It was a great day.
@Lindsey I read Eclipse in like a day too.
I Read Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows in release day! I was on bed rest for preeclampsia and I had to know how it ended!
@Brandy my best friend did the same thing, but just because she refused not to. She had it preordered months in advance. I think she might have even taken off work.
Noooooooo…..you should be proud instead ???
@Nita I am proud but now I’m reading the third one.
Madison Woodard Ohh..the only downside I can see that you will finish the series soon and then you may have a book hangover if you loved it too much haha. But that is okay I guess….a new book waits for you ?
What are you reading by the way….I tried to find in the comments but couldn’t.

Madison Woodard Ohh….I read this series years ago and I did enjoy it. In fact I went through the trilogy very fast myself! And all the very fast….may nothing comes between you and those 90 pages ??
Have a look at my page. If you like what you see I’ll send you the book and sequel for free. I warn you though, it’s not conventional writing!
https://www.facebook.com/flickywoo/
Noooo, why should you be worried?? If I did that my number of tbr books would be lower.
Sounds like a good day to me
Definitely not
Not at all! I love when that happens! ?
You should be happy, but try harder. Maybe devour 2 books a day, maybe 10? You’ll never know
@Janette I devoured two books in the same series yesterday.
@Madison now, think about it, 2 books a day, how many books you could read
No
Awesome! Lucky you!
You go girl! ✊
Wish I could do that! The nearest I’ve got is two-and-a-half days.
No it happens I do it sometimes myself esp if I really get into it
