I am Pilgrim by Terry somebody. Also, The Life We Bury by Allen Esken (?spelling) . Also: find books by Arnaldur Indridasson- he’s Icelandic and as yet under-appreciated in this country but has fantastic character development, I’ve read all his several times. Most are the Detective Erlendur series, which are fantastic, bit Operation Napoleon is a stand- alone mystery and you won’t be able to put it down. Also excellent: Asa Larsson’s series
Just read a brilliant political thriller series by David Pepper. Only two books so far; start with The People’s House and go on the The Wingman. Fantastic reads. http://amzn.to/2oV7s2W
