Just finished the Broken Empire trilogy by mark lawrence. Heard great things about red sister but is it best to read The Red queens war trilogy first.

I’ve only read the first book. My only complaint is that the main character is young and overconfident. This is fine but the story makes it seem like no one questions his confidence and people who should question it seem to be afraid of him.

So I’m interested in what some of the other flaws are you guys found in the series. I’m a slow reader and new to reading for enjoyment.

I enjoyed it! It’s a bit dark, but I would definitely recommend it!
