I stopped reading his Reacher books when they came out with the movies. Tom Cruise as Jack Reacher was such a poor casting choice but I now see him as I read and it spoils the books. A scrawny, short guy Like Cruise is not the way the character was written. The action scenes depend on the build of Reacher to work.

Yes, you have to look away from the movie trailers on tv or risk having the association ruin things. I’ve mostly managed to keep my vague (I don’t usually have a detailed character physical profile in my head like some people) mental image of a tall brawny short haired man.

Reacher novels & corps justice are the only books husband & I agree on lol
Try Corps justice (first few were self published & you can tell it took time for author to find his flow, but story is worth it)
