I’ve read the first 3 and really enjoyed them. Can’t bring myself to read the 4th book. No fault to the series but I haven’t gotten over the heartbreak I felt after book three.
Is it for the same reason as mine? Or you simply haven’t had the time? It has been years since the series finished and I don’t know if I’ll ever even read the 4th.
Lol same reason. I read the description for book 4 and personally I just .. lol I don’t know I didn’t think it was necessary. Book 3 was enough. And I can’t imagine changing the point of view. Plus yes the heartbreak was ouch and then I read the description to 4 and I thought really?? Bringing her back?? To torture everyone?? Lol so I couldn’t bring myself to reading it ? but it’s hanging over me lmao oneday I will finish it. I think …
Oh! And btw despite the references to Alice in Wonderland made with the titles and the covers, this isn’t an Alice in Wonderland retelling. If you want to read a retelling, I rec Splintered by AG Howard.
I read the books as they came out. Funny thing is that I haven’t brought myself to read the fourth book in that series cuz I feel like I might weep. The trilogy also has a love triangle which I would normally hate. Love triangles aren’t my thing but I didn’t mind it in this one and even had a hard time choosing between the two guys.
@Stephanie, the MC dresses as alice once and there is something in the book about a rabbit shaped cloud but that’s as much as you’re going to get when it comes to alice in wonderland. I also don’t care for zombies. If I remember correctly, the author does a new take on zombies and I ended up enjoying the books either way.
It’s good if you don’t have any expectations for the book… If you’re thinking awesome zombie filled action retelling of Alice in Wonderland you are sadly mistaken… If you’re thinking teen melodrama with a romance that’s super confusing and “zombies” Are sorta in there too, then you’re on the right track lol
I loved them and honestly don’t know why. I stayed up to the early morning reading them. I didn’t think they were super special but it really grabbed my attention.
I love everything Alice too but I’ll be honest, it’s not an Alice in Wonderland retelling. Its really good I really enjoyed the series but the references to Alice is minor. Try Insanity by Cameron Jace though. That’s all this Lewis and Alice.
@Tasha I love Alice in Wonderland too!! So have considered Alice in Zombieland (even though I am not into zombies). But seeing now that it isn’t really a retelling of Alice in Wonderland probably won’t read it. You have read Insanity? Is it a good Alice in Wonderland retelling?
@Tasha awesome, thanks! I have read quite a few Alice in Wonderland retellings…the Splintered series by AG Howard, After Alice by Gregory McGuire, Heartless by Marissa Meyer and the Queen of Hearts series by Colleen Oakes…but haven’t checked out Insanity yet!
I loved this series. Gena is brilliant. I loved the zombies as well. The story itself even had a lot of depth and actually taught me to stop speaking negative things over my life, something I did so often before reading the book.
Following because I’ve owned the first 2 in this series for about 8 years and never read them ?
I have the 1st and havnt read either lol
Lol i love the series I’ve read it multiple times?
No clue it existed and I love Alice in wonderland

Same. I haven’t read the fourth yet … I really enjoyed the first three

Oh sweet! I love, love triangles ?
Then, this will be perfect for you! I hope you enjoy the book!
@Paloma that’s good to know! I am not a big fan of zombies, but love Alice in Wonderland so I have always debated reading this series!
