@Sharon I am about 75 pages in. It is a Dumas- full of young aristocrats, intrigue, and some swashbuckling. Marie Antoinette has just made her appearance on the way to Paris for her wedding. This one even has a touch of the supernatural with a character who claims to be over 2000 years old. So far a fun read after all the holiday stress.?
I’m still on the Outlander, I’m kinda disappointed though, there’s a lot of romance. Why can’t they just tell the story. I realize that is the story, but how many books do ya need to talk about?
