My book group was split on like/didn’t like. Some thought it was depressing. But it did provide good topics for discussion.

Awkward family situations, lots of emotions and sorrow
I loved it! As an Asian America who was the only Asian in my HS, it really spoke to me. Reading Little Fires now and enjoying that also.
