Sign up for newsletters from bookbub, book riot, book adrenaline, goodreads deals, bargain booksy, and the fussy librarian. They send you daily emails of free or on sale ebooks.

You probably know about bookbub, I have a nook(B&N) and it has a section for free books, mostly first of a series, or new authors, the selections are ok. But I really like getting a bookbub email telling me all the free books and where to get them.

Also like/friend indie authors. They will usually post when their books are free or they will off deals on old books when a new one comes out.
