On,…All my dust jackets are attached to the books with double sided tape on the inside of the book. I have a few former library books that are wrapped in plastic and attached to the book.
Off, when I buy hardcover i tuck the dust jackets into the back of my bookcase. Last count I had about 50 back there
I keep it on the book till it’s too ripped or banged up to protect the book. That’s when I usually remove it
My books are covered with adhesive plastic to protect them and the ones with the dust jackets I make it unremovable
On as I use the flaps for bookmarks. I dont like the feel of most books cardboard covers, it is like nails scratching down a blackboard for me.
On. I never liked to keep it on before when traveling with it but I use a book sleeve to put it in my purse to take it with me now.
I take it of while I’m reading but put it back on as soon as I’m done so that it looks pretty in between reading times.
