Noo… I get too into the book and my food gets cold and I don’t want to leave the book to reheat it … coffee also gets cold… So chocolate… wine.. gin… that works with books for me LOL
Normally coffee or tea to drink. And depends on if the kids make me something or I have something to munch on. My 12 and 14yo loves making dinner. My 17yo will sometimes make it too.
Soup. Apple. Anything. Sometimes I eat the same thing they’re eating in the book. Or at least want to prepare it but the book is too good because the writer thought about food.
I drink tea obsessively while reading and, up until recently (trying to drop a few pounds), I NEEDED to have munchies while reading. Now its just…. tea LOL
I am trying to stop. I tell myself that as long as I’m not “finished” (I sit at the table), I don’t have to stop reading and do something I’m trying to avoid.
I’m munch M&M’s and drink Pepsi.
Cheese, candy, yogurt, chips/dip, pretzels/cream cheese… almost anything lol … drink tea or coffee

I look at a book as a treasure to be preserved, charished and protected so they may last and stay in my possession as long as possible!????
These authors I think deserve to be respected and there writings kept prestine as possible for as long as possible to enjoy and cherish???
All books deserve to be taken care of???

No.
1. Because reading doesn’t expend much energy, therefore it doesn’t require an intake of energy.
2. Because I don’t want to get my books dirty.
Yes, I did that yesterday ??
If i do its mainly fruit. Or like chips for something salty. I enjoy an orange a lot when reading.
I generally don’t for fear of getting books dirty. But I have a cup of something warm while reading almost every day.
