If I do, I usually do one ebook and one physical. And they must be different genres. Otherwise it doesn’t work for me.

I’ve got a few different books going at all times. I get bored with one, and bounce to a different one until I’m in the mood for it again. But they have to be completely different kinds of books. Like, one high fantasy, one urban fantasy, a classic, etc.

I used to think that I would never be able to do it. I thought my mind wouldn’t be able to focus on so many stories at once, but I went ahead and tried it. I started off only reading two at once and now I’m reading 6 books at once with no problems.

I can only focus on one at a time. I might start 2 at the same time but I end up with finishing one.

Same. I’ve always been a fast reader, so once I started reading multiple books at once, it definitely helped make a dent in my tbr list.

I can’t do it, I get so caught up in whatever world the author has created in the book I’m reading that I can’t get on with another book at the same time.

Personally, I can’t handle it. However, I can manage an audio book and a ‘normal’ book. I have been doing this since last summer and it is working for me 🙂

One always overtakes after a while. But some books are easier to read at certain times than others. I often have a few on the go, and so long as the book is not too intense I can pick it up again no prob even if I have not looked at it for months…

I’ve done it, but I like the flow of reading one book at a time . . .

I think that if you feel disinterested in a book, you should pick up another just to keep you from becoming disinterested in reading.

I do it a lot lately, I can read up to three at once, it’s convenient it I’m reading a paperback and leave it at home I’ll just start an Ebook or audiobook while I’m out. Or sometimes if I need to review a book or meet a deadline I’ll start on the book, along with my current read

Even when I have a huge stack of unread books at home, I will be looking for even more books to read.

I do it but with very different style books. I typically have one personal development book and one leisure book going at once. If they are too similar in style, I sometimes get myself all mixed up, hahaha.
