That’s sweet. I keep wanting to get my boyfriend into reading, only once a week as something kind of quiet to do together, and I’ve suggested taking turns reading to each other. We started Jurassic Park because I know it’s a book he has read and liked. We’re not too far in and I’ve mostly been doing the reading but I enjoy it.
I always read aloud on car trips, sometimes we do audiobooks because there are some excellent narrators like Jim Dale and Katherine Kellgren whom I love
I do both actually. Especially if it’s a book I’m having trouble concentrating on or understanding.
reading silently. but i do sometimes read aloud but not too loud like whispering. imagine that i was the one who were talking ?
I only read aloud if I am reading to someone
Aloud until my voice starts to give out. But only when no one else is home.
My wife and I read to each other while the other was taking a turn driving back to MO from CO in 2016. That was nice.

Silent
Unless of course reading to a child!

Depends on the book
Both, if it’s loud I read quietly to myself but usually silently
Silently. I only read out aloud when I am not understanding
I read faster when I do it silently. And I like faster. So I always do faster 🙂
silently at first, but if i get stuck, i reread outloud
Silent… I can’t speak as fast as I read!
Depends. Mostly I don’t read out loud. Oddly enough the book I’m reading I started by reading out loud.
Silently, I do read some aloud to the dog.
Usually silent, but if I have a nonfiction book that I’m struggling with I’ll read it out loud when I’m alone
Silently.
