@Marian I enjoyed that one a lot but I thought it was kinda strange that she always wore a blindfold. I have a few blind friends, even ones that lost their sight in similar situations as her, but none of them do that.
Five Flavors of Dumb by Antony John. Features a Deaf female protagonist. Don’t read Me Before You, it’s super ablist and insulting to a lot of people with disabilities.
@Brittany definitely NOT a disability but great to know there’s some representation out there. Though it’s probably a male character but you can’t have it all
I know what you mean, but being a fellow Aspie it didn’t really sit well with me. That’s just my personal opinion though. I’m trying to read more books with characters who have autism
Phantom Waltz by Catherine Anderson, female main char is a paraplegic. Follow My Leader by James B. Garfield, Jimmy is blinded by a firework. (Kind of a younger read, but I enjoied it.)
A curse so dark and lonely.
Only just started it – but one of the main characters has Cerebral Palsy.

Not If I See You First by Eric Lindstrom. The main character is blind
@Marian I enjoyed that one a lot but I thought it was kinda strange that she always wore a blindfold. I have a few blind friends, even ones that lost their sight in similar situations as her, but none of them do that.

Throne of Glass and Cassandra Clare’s Dark Artifaces has a character with autism.
@Brittany definitely NOT a disability but great to know there’s some representation out there. Though it’s probably a male character but you can’t have it all
@Rocio it’s out of the typical character and differently-abled. It highlights his strengths once the character introduction is over.
I know what you mean, but being a fellow Aspie it didn’t really sit well with me. That’s just my personal opinion though. I’m trying to read more books with characters who have autism
