The Spellbook of Katrina van Tassel, by Alyssa Palombo. It’s a retelling of the Headless Horseman/Sleepy Hollow legend.
Way outside my comfort zone, but it was an incredible read: SEE WHAT I HAVE DONE (a novel about Lizzie Borden) by Sarah Schmidt.
Hell House by Richard Matheson The Exorcist by William Peter Blatty Intensity by Dean Koontz Ghost Story by Peter Straub Amityville Horror by Jay Anson Origin by Jack Kilborn Bird Box by Josh Malerman
OOO, I loved it! It reminded me so much of early Stephen King. Isn’t it funny how much tastes can differ? 🙂

Yes! A Noise Downstairs by Linwood Barclay – the audiobook was perfect
Pet Cemetery-Stephen King or Heart Shaped Box-Joe Hill
Heart Shaped Box not my favorite.
