I just read HEX by Thomas Olde Heuvelt and Silent companions by Laura Purcell BENtley Little is great as mentioned above. I liked his The Mailman and the Policy. also The Boy Who Drew Monsters by Keith Donohue, A Sudden Light by Garth Stein, an oldie THE Haunting of Hill House by Shirley JAckson, Rosemary’s Baby, by Ira Levin, Legion(The Exorcist #2) by William Peter Blatty. i know there are some really good ones I can’t remember – will add. Neil gaiman and stephen King of course
I recently picked that up but haven’t started yet. I’ve heard it’s great but that some parts are not for the faint of heart…which intrigues me even more!
Me too… but I have been busy grading school papers – and am almost finished with A Canticle for Leibowitz.,,, maybe next. I’ll have to see what calls to me 🙂
