I still enjoy these kinds of books even though fiction has taken over. I need to get back in to one I started. Mostly soul or spiritual development if I buy self help anymore.

Yes, I read a few self help books a year. The Productivity Project was really good. I read about 30-50 non fiction a year- mostly history and theology with some popular science.

I do not personally care for self-help books. However I do read a lot of history and science books particularly astronomy. And I will read socio-political books and memoirs from time to time.
