practically all books of Sara Ney. I love her writing style.the slow built up relationships. “Jock Row” and “The learning hours- how to date a douchebag” are my favs 🙂
Have you read the Outlander? Or any of Sarah Maas books. I also Juliet Marillier’s books and Jennifer Fallon. Robin Hobb is good too. Those are all fantasy.
@Kayla thank you. Another series I absolutely LOVE is the Pendergast series by Douglas Preston and Lincoln. The first book is Relic. I highly recommend them. I think there’s about 20 books in the series so far.
The Water at the End of the World. Experience amazing adventures in the Andes as Yana Mayu goes in search of the magical water that will cure the young heir to the throne of the Inca Empire.
Tamora Pierce is one of our favorite authors. She writes strong women & girls without making men/boys be stupid. Most of them come in sets of 3 or 4.

The Illuminae Files by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff- amazing (don’t get on kindle, the comparability is shocking)
Simon vs The Homo Sapiens Agenda / The Upside of the Unrequited / Leah on the Offbeat all by Becky Albertali
Nearly anything that Charles de Lint has written.
