The way my Gram is describing her current one, it doesn’t sound romantic. I think it’s called “Chasing Christmas” by Terri Blackstock. She said it is comical.
I’m currently reading a Cozy Mystery called Slay Bells…it’s a bit…interesting so far, I may or may not like the genre of cozy mysteries 😂😂 (not sure if it’s the book or genre I’m kinda meh about).
The Other Wise Man, by Henry Van Dyke. Copywrited 1895. Short story or novella. I am no longer religious, but this story can still bring tears to my eyes. It’s about what the season is about: love and compassion.
Other then A Christmas Carol the first thing that comes to mind is The Christmas Pig: A Fable by Kinky Friedman. Whenever I see or hear chick lit I think of the gum.
Dave Barry has one. I can’t remember the whole name, Walter the Christmas Miracle Dog is in there somewhere.
Last Christmas in Paris: A Novel of World War I

I read and enjoyed this one. It‘s corny at times, but I enjoyed it more than I thought I would.
