@Joanna The Rules of Magic, it came out earlier this year and I didn’t even realise until I was about 20% in that it was a prequel to Practical Magic it’s a really amazing book that goes more into the early lives of the aunts and the curse too. The movie is probably my favourite movie ever, I’ve re-watched it so many times.
? this movie was everything I ever wanted from life as a hormonal teenager, this and the scene with “This Kiss” playing as she ran down the street were the what love was to me. There was love, friendship, sisterhood, I feel another rewatch coming on!
I really like The Mayfair Witches by Anne Rice. 3 books in total, if sex scenes bother you it may not be for you. It isn’t all through but there are sex scenes in each of the books if I remember but fantastic witches story with a ghost! xxx
The Dead series by Charlaine Harris. Also known as True Blood. They don’t just talk about vampires. There’s shapeshifters, werewolves, witches, other paranormal creatures.
Any witch books that are more Sabrina and Bewitched then having to make a spell. Just something where the character uses magic with a point of a finger etc. Tried Discovery of Witches and couldn’t be bothered with the 3rd book as didn’t care enough.
Adele Abbott has a cute, funny, inventive series out about a P.I. who found out her birth mother was alive, but on her deathbed. She is asked to attend her bedside and then her newly found mother calls her a witch. Unhappy about that she then comes to understand all…and that all is more fun than you can shake a stick at. Love the series. Have most on my Kindle. You have to start at book one.
Well, if you want a YA novel series about witches (and vampires), I recommend the House of Night series. They’re really wonderful, though I barely made a dent in the series myself.
You could try A discovery of witches by Deborah Harkness it’s very good and there are 2 more too if you enjoy it ?
Have you read Terry Pratchett The Witches – Nanny Ogg is a legend – they are part of the Discworld series do fantasy very funny.
Witch’s Trinity
Have you read Practical Magic? Such a good and fast read.
The prequel is beautiful too!
Andrea Dodds I don’t know it. What was the title?
And the movie showed Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman and Aiden Quinn at their most beautiful stages in their lives. What a beautiful movie to watch.

Thanks! If I flip around the TV and come across it, I always stop to take a look at all that prettiness!
