I know! I just finished it, started last night and went to bed feeling weird. Now I feel like I need to read a Dr. Seuss book. Wow! Just wow!!

@Kelly Seriously! I ended up giving it a 3 star rating but only because I was totally shaken. I feel like the author deserves higher just because I’ll never get this book out of my head! ?

KellyQuestion author

@Darreth yeah she’ll get a 5 Star from me. I’ve read all of her books and she had stirred different emotions out of me each time but this one shook me up to. But not necessarily in a bad way. If an author can get a “good” emotion out of me like that then I think they are worth reading. It just depends on how the individual reading takes it and how they handle it.

Someone else posted about it here so I read an excerpt and I was hooked. Had to rush through the end of the book I was reading to get back to it.

@Kelly Where is Verity discussion page

Michelle

@Kelly Colleen Hoover has her readers facebook page, CoHorts. I’m part of that and saw the discussion facebook page for Verity. Go to the CoHorts page. You can join from there. She does that with her new books so we can discuss without spoilers for those who haven’t read it yet.

I had never read Colleen Hoover before I read this. I told her in my other discussion group that she’d ruined me for anything else of hers because this just blew my mind!

@Sharon lol! You should give the others a try. They are all good on different levels. None of her books are for the weak as she does hit some hard topics

Sharon

I plan to, this one was just…wow.

Michelle

@Sharon little tip. Don’t read the reviews for her books. Don’t read the blurbs and the back of the books. It tends to always give too much away. Just open it and go. I promise you won’t be disappointed. ❤️. Her others aren’t like this one but are still so very good. Open Hoprless and go. Open November 9. Just read. November 9 was my first snd still my favorite. The dedication in it grabbed me and I was in. ❤️❤️

1
Sharon

I’ll be grabbing a few at some point!! Thanks for the tip!! ❤️

At one point I sat up in bed and thru the book across the room! After I resuscitated my husband (that’s a joke), I picked it up and finished continued. I loved it – but I do sometimes overreact to twists and turns in my books. My grandson recently called and said “Grandma, I think I must have just gotten to the part where you tossed the book!” Haha – He had.
