I have a few. I adore DI Harry Evan’s from @Graham‘s books. He is the type of person you love to hate. An asshole with a heart.
I also love Lorne Simpkins from @Mel‘s Justice series…because she simply rocks!
I also love Kim Stone from @Angie‘ books. Tough, independent, hard ass with a heart.
I could name loads more for various reasons….and I might…later…lol!! ??

Many thanks for the mention, @Noelle, but Harry Evans prefers to think he’s the kind of guy you hate to love.

@Graham yeah…that is what I meant! Only had 2.5 hours sleep last night…brain does not always spew the thoughts out in the correct word formations at this time….
And if there is something wrong with the above….well, too bad…I am tired! ??

Sherlock Holmes for me – love how he’s an antisocial ass but gets his head in the game to solve the crimes. ?

John Rebus is definitely my favourite – I love all Ian Rankin’s books, but the Rebus ones are my favourites because of his flawed but likeable personality

I like DI Jack (Jane) Austin in my books – he is the only protagonist detective I know who has never solved a crime in his life…(to find out you have to read the books, I could tell yer but I’ have to kill yer)
