In my opinion, his best book was Shadow of the Wind. It is incredible. He wrote two more in the series, one was a prequel. They were so-so, but maybe I felt that way because it had been years since I read Shadow, so it was hard to remember everything. His 4th book in the series Labyrnith of Spirits, is just published. I’m saving it for winter. Hope it’s as good as Shadow. I hope this helps you.
