Well i did, l loved it! Because there’s so much of john green in it, there’s also so much of myself in it, i’m 19yo and i can relate to most of Aza’s issues, i really loved it!
The thing about her is that she’s not a girl of morals and values, she’s rebellious in a strange way, if she hadn’t die she would have ended with Pudge anyway, i felt terribly sorry for him!
@Khadija i appreciate her independence but as someone who was cheated on it just bothered me her actions. Maybe its not so much her but how all the guy characters wanted her. Like no other girl had a personality. That part just didnt seem realistic
It doesn’t have to be realistic, I don’t think there’s someone Alaska, she’s exceptional with all her flaws, she’s philosophical, her childhood has everything to do with her personality, she was consumed by her guilt that she doesn’t care, Colonel says she’s addicted to sex, it’s her escape to forget about everything
Heather Fincher Blanton aw hen, I hear ya, I was the same with ‘The Book Thief’, convinced myself I would be fine, nope, I watched the scene & let out this big sob, I was so embarrassed!☺️
I love fault in the stars. Has any one heard of Esther Earl? She was the inspiration for the book. She had the same cancer as Hazel and met the author at a Harry Potter event. Unfortunately she passed before the book was written. Her family wrote a book about her life called ‘this star won’t go out’. A must read for any fault in the stars fan.
@Stephanie I really enjoyed an abundance of Katherines, but there was just a really happy feel good side to paper towns that just pushes it over the edge for me 🙂
@Stephanie I am pretty old so I need to consider my book shelf. Different issues at different stages of life and I know lots of people love his books and the interviews I have seen him do he seems like an amazing, lovely guy. I hope people that read his books find what they need in them to help with their lives.
I’ve only read the fault in our stars but loved it. Looking for Alaska is upstairs on my tbr list.
@Steff lfa is good but i had issues with it as well
Me too! I’ve read all John Green’s books and they’re all amazing! TFIOS is my favorite of all time and my second favorite is Turtles All The Way Down.
Yeah, seriousely.
I liked it but not sure yet how i rank it

My anxiety is not as intense as Aza’s, i mean Aza is obsessed, i’m not, but i am an introvert like Aza, i like overthinking like Aza, i just loved it!
Thanks!
I rank it higher than looking for Alaska thats for sure
Me too! Not that i didn’t love Looking for Alaska, i did, i just think that TATWD is more realistic and more true.
@Khadija i disliked everyones like for her character
You mean Alaska or Aza?
@Khadija Alaska
Oh, i think i’m the opposite, i loved her bc she was different, brave and funny i was really devastated by her death!
@Khadija i guess i didnt like the fact that she was basically gonna cheat on her bf with pudge and never seemed to get called out for her wrongdoings.
The thing about her is that she’s not a girl of morals and values, she’s rebellious in a strange way, if she hadn’t die she would have ended with Pudge anyway, i felt terribly sorry for him!

The Fault of our Stars ~ I cried all over the place, I can’t even bring myself to watch the movie☺️

Apparently Esther Earl had a YouTube channel and lived her short life to the fullest.
Will Grayson, Will Grayson
Looking for Alaska is my all time favorite JG book. I cried so much and could relate so much
The Fault in Our Stars
Looking for alaska
Paper towns :’)
@Dannie im trying to decide if i like this one or an abundance of katherines more
@Stephanie I really enjoyed an abundance of Katherines, but there was just a really happy feel good side to paper towns that just pushes it over the edge for me 🙂
So far the only John Green book I’ve read is The Fault In Our Stars
The movie wasn’t bad though 😛
Looking for Alaska and Paper Towns ???
Only watched the film (The fault in our stars). Didn’t even know it was based on a book until I followed this page. I need to get the book.
I was sobbing by the time I got to the end of the book. I’ll never watch that movie, I’m afraid I’ll have an emotional breakdown lol
I was interested in reading one until I found out how devastating they seemed to be. There are a lot of other books for me to read.
@Tamara that’s what makes them deep and relatable
