Thrift stores, second hand book stores and my locally owned bookstore. I support small businesses.

Our only local owned book stores are secondhand. I do support them.

Granted local doesn’t always have what we are looking for but looking local (when affordable too of course) is always my favourite option. ❤️❤️

Charity shops or online at world of books is good too. Tesco (a bit like Wal-Mart?) is good as it’s 2 for £7 on new paperbacks or between £5-£10 for a new hardback.

BAM! Mostly but I just started buying them at http://bookoutlet.com/! I was super excited to get Caraval in hardcover for 4.49! There’s lots of books that are less than two dollars -new books in hardcover! Plus it’s free shipping over $35. Someone actually posted something yesterday about another online site that has free shipping on anything over $10 so I’m going to check it out once I figure out where it is ?

If I am not in a hurry, I love Betterworldbooks. They have great sales, I can find almost anything I want and for each book bought from them they also donate one to their literacy program and for each book the site also shows where any profit for books goes. The retired librarian in me loves that they donate millions of books. A big plus with BWB is Free Shipping!!

Thrift stores such as Goodwill and Salvation Army. There’s an estate warehouse where I live that had a bunch of used books. I also like to scope out library sales. Thriftbooks and used books from a Amazon or B&N are also great.
