Fantasy isn’t really my thing, but Steven Savile’s Coldfall Wood was great if you enjoy that side. It is a sequel to Glass Town, but you can read it independently. (I did.)

I loved The Toy Makers by Robert Dinsdale and The Snow Child by Eowyn. Are these classed as fantasy?

Loved Time’s Convert by Deborah Harkness (a sequel to her All Soul’s Trilogy). Paranormal fantasy.

Emma Martin Great! Hope you continue to enjoy it. The first one sets the scene really well. I found it moved quite slowly, but it never dragged. The second one ups the pace.

Not lately but I loved The Dark Tower series by Stephen King and The Time Traveller’s Wife by Audrey Niffenegger.

Thought time traveller was more of romance genre. Is the book better than the movie?

The movie isn’t a 10th of the book. So much more detail in the book. The love story is definitely the main plot point but there is plenty of other aspects that are worth reading.

I am enjoying Urban Shaman by C.E. Murphy. It’s about a half-Irish/half-Cherokee female cop who learns that she has shamanic powers.
