I basically said that to my best friend Jessica after reading the first book in the Fever series by KMM

Yes! ?

I think this is THE best compliment a bookish person could ever get. To turn a reader on to something you loved is all we ever really want….sharing our love of these stories with the masses.

When you get books as birthday present, and as Christmas presents by all your family haha

When you talk about your books your whole face lights up and it sounds like a parent talking about her children (I actually got to hear this from an old friend)

My ex use to say that I could sum up every book with enthusiasm and I’m a way that made him think he read the book himself and enjoyed it.

Don’t know about that, but don’t you just hate it when someone looks at your books, collected over many years, & says “have you actually read them all?””

Or they go like ‘you’re never gonna finish that in a thousand lifetimes’ when those are books you’ve already finished reading.

I think the best compliment is having company who brings tea or coffee with nibbles just to sit and read at your house and then watching them build up their own library. It speaks about their thinking process and how you are a part of it. I know…I’m odd! 😉

I absolutely hate sports. I took a book to my nephew’s football game. He got upset that I was reading. I told him he should have been paying attention to the game and not watching me. He’s 10yrs old. I saw most of the game but I do not understand it.
