I’m dipping into my first foray of Katherine Mansfield’s collected stories.
Wonderfully written and so glad I have discovered them.

I loved Cider with Rosie, takes you back to a different time, can be a bit slow at times but very descriptive. It depends if you enjoy this style of writing and the fact that it is an autobiography.

I did this at school, but then English classes were not a happy experience. I ought to try him again, properly this time.

I had few difficulties in literature class and find some teachers rushing us to read. In university, we had Edgar Allan Poe, back then I didnt like him but when I started reading his works again,I finally get the chance to understand and I love it! ? hope you will enjoy it this time ?

His earlier work is better. Start with The Wind-up Bird Chronicle, @Sean. It’s far superior to this one, but this is still holding my interest so far!

I just started Ben Hur. Slow going in the beginning with stilted language. Hope it gets better
