@Emma it’s amazing Emma I also recommended this on audible the unabridged version it has music throughout the book really gives it that eccentric feel ?

I loved this book. The funny thing is that is his only book that I have read. LOL. It’s a hard sell though. No matter how I praise this book my friends have not read it. You are the first person who ever commented on this. LOL

Commentary on the Torah by Friedman. It’s a new translation of the first five books of the Bible with great explanatory notes by the translator, who has written other books about Jewish scripture. Eye opening.

I think it was The Greedy Queen by Annie Gray, a book about Queen Victoria and food. I would not say it was an outstanding year for new books though.
