@Fiona She lost it a bit at that point. I want to re read the series again but there are so many new authors that are just as good. Chris Carter is my favourite at the minute.

My Mum bought me a couple of Agatha Christie paperbacks in the 70s. What is now known as “And then there were none” and “At Bertram’s Hotel”. I was a teenager. I then devoured the whole lot!

I cant remember what it was called? But it was from a real pathologist and it was about 3 real life crimes. One about a wood chipper. One about a bath full of acid and I can’t remember the third. If anybody recognises it and can name it? I would like to get it again.

The one I nicked from W.H. Smiths when I was fifteen. (Only joking. I can’t remember for sure that far back but I’m pretty sure it was The Return of Sherlock Holmes, bought for me by my dad off a book stall in Doncaster market when I was eleven or twelve.)

Loved Along Came a Spider, Kiss the Girls and a couple of others, and then JP seemed to aim for a mass audience and change his style, tone it down and let other authors write his books for him. Shame.
