True we did always have hers in the house when we were young. I suppose the one we all started was with that politically wrong one that is now called “Then there were none,”
My Mum bought me a couple of Agatha Christie paperbacks in the 70s. What is now known as “And then there were none” and “At Bertram’s Hotel”. I was a teenager. I then devoured the whole lot!
I cant remember what it was called? But it was from a real pathologist and it was about 3 real life crimes. One about a wood chipper. One about a bath full of acid and I can’t remember the third. If anybody recognises it and can name it? I would like to get it again.
The one I nicked from W.H. Smiths when I was fifteen. (Only joking. I can’t remember for sure that far back but I’m pretty sure it was The Return of Sherlock Holmes, bought for me by my dad off a book stall in Doncaster market when I was eleven or twelve.)
