I’m a long time dorito and potato chip person which are just too much for me now though I still love them. I just experimented with my first can of roasted garbanzo beans and they were really good. Ate the whole can, which sort of defeats the purpose.
I don’t really have a ‘reading snack’ because I read all the time, whenever I am not doing anything else. Reading for me isn’t something that requires special preperation, I just do it.
It rather depends on the time of day. Coffee in the morning, coffee, tea, herbal tea if throughout the day, likely wine in the evening. Likely only eating in the evening, which might be chocolate or cheese.
I may listen to an audio book in the morning while I work out or get ready but I have to really work to pull myself out of my own head in the morning and get myself prepared to interact with other humans.
I think sitting down with a book in the morning would make it really hard to leave my house.
If I’m browsing or “visiting” books in a bookstore I will have coffee or cocoa. Tonight I was just finishing an audio book while I tinkered around the house then sat down with popcorn and red wine to read my physical book.

Mine used to be M&M’s or popcorn but then I started a diet and neither of those is allowed. Now I eat dill pickles.

It used to be tortilla chips & mt dew, but my glucose went wonky so my docs said cut down carbs & sugars lol
