Favorite SF thriller: Niven and Pournelle’s “The Mote in God’s Eye.”
That’s interesting, I think my dad had a copy of that, but I was never really drawn to it, may have to check it out!
I love that book!
Have you ever read the sequel?
“The Moat Around Murcheson’s Eye”
@Gordon I read the sequel and regretted bothering. I have to say that Larry and Jerry aren’t good at sequels. The sequel to “Inferno” was a botch, too.
I didn’t even know there was a sequel to Inferno. I take it it’s not very good…
Sc-Fic Thriller .. i’d say “Brave New World”
and for .. crime thrillers .. i dont reckon i’ve read this genre of books before .. i read Spy novels :3
The complete collections of Agatha Christie and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle ❤❤
The Martian Chronicles / anything by Jonathan Kellerman.
Mike Resnick does a couple of anthologies called Alien Crimes and Along the Dark Spaceways that are both.
Oh God! That’s such an impossible question!
I love Richard K. Morgan’s Takeshi Kovacs Science Fiction trilogy (each is like a standalone though)????
And for Crime Thrillers I love the Jack Reacher books, the Harry Bosch series, and you can’t go wrong with anything Sherlock Holmes!❤️?❤️
Illuminae!!!! It’s amazing!
The Martian
Dark Matter by Blake Crouch
Today I’ll go with “The Telzey Toy” by James H. Schmitz and “Crime School” by Carol O’Connell.
Depending on how you define thriller: DUNE and WAR OF THE WORLDS
Of the newer variety The Martian by Andy Weir, The Breach trilogy by Patrick Lee, and Dark Matter by Blake Crouch. All were wonderful.
Contact…the movie made from Carl Sagan’s book of the same name
