It’s hard to pick a favorite. I have bought books from at least 4 sites. It depends on who has the book and then who is the cheapest.

When I’m being cheap on the Amazon Marketplace, it tends to be these guys that I gravitate towards. Great for saving pennies and consistently good on the quality front (you know, books in good condition abs whatnot).

Booktopia!! So reliable and flat rate shipping!! Can’t be beat … however if there was still a physical bookshop in my town I would prefer that but apparently I live in a town full of ignorant illiterates and they have all shut down ?

Booktopia is expensive compared to book depository but it’s good to support Australian companies! I buy most of mine second hand anyways

Book Depository by far. The books are nearly half the price, paperback editions are released months before they are in the states, and they ship much faster than Amazon. When I order, I put what I want into the carts on Amazon, Barnes and Noble and Book Depository. Book Depository beats the total every time by a minimum of $15-$20. Plus it’s free shipping no matter if I buy 1 book or 20.

I use Amazon.ca. a lot, because of the many second hand bookshops under their label, but every so often , you can down load a novel out of print from some of our library sites. Our city transit has a program that it runs with our local library , called, “Books On The Bus .”Unfortunately I don’t usually remember to return the books I borrow, but I should.

I order from Paperback Booksmith, and Harvard Bookstore(not part of the University). Booksmith I pick up, Harvard mails them. Haven’t done other places, I am afraid I would not be able to pay bills.
