I love the John Jakes Kent Family Chronicles. Just downloaded the first in the Ken Follet series, The Century Trilogy. I don’t read this genre a lot anymore, but looking forward to reading it.
Lots of good answers here! The Forsyth Saga was good,too. It has been a while since I read it. I looked it up in my Kindle. &1.99 right now! I might have to reread it!
Fern Michaels wrote a series of books, and each part of the family lived and worked in different parts of the country — Kentucky, Las Vegas, and Texas. I remember loving those books because of the family saga piece.
@Kris Oh, I hope you will like them! They are older books, so I hope the themes will still resonate today. Life changes so fast these days! All in all, I think her books are usually pretty good and satisfying. I’d love to know what you think if/when you get the chance!
