Oh I need to read Urdu books in the summer. Would you send me some more recommendations please?

1
Fatima

@Mona Er.. I don’t read urdu books. This was a rare occasion ?. But from the ones I’ve read, حماقتیں by Shafeeq ur Rahman is a really humorous and amazing book. As mentioned above Pir-e-Kamil is a beautiful life changing book. Its sequel, Aab e Hayat is also amazing though I have yet to read it. I think that’s it.
Can you please suggest me some good urdu books you’ve read since I’ve clearly read very few? ?

1
Fatima

نمل، مصحف & جنت ک پتے
All by nimra Ahmed are all amazing books that have been suggested to me.I’ll read them in the summer breaks hopefully.

1
Mona

@Fatima thank you! I haven’t read any ?. Actually, I’ve studied Urdu as a second language uptil now. I’m good at that, but literature or poetry isn’t part of the course. And now I’m moving back for college so I need get to that level. That’s why, summer goals are to read lots of Urdu books, poetry included.

1
Fatima

@Mona Same here. Studied urdu as a second language. Studying in an English medium from the very start, I got lots of practice with English and English books are all I’ve read but sadly not much of urdu. It’s a bit difficult at first and I’m really slow but I’ll try.

1
Mona

Yahh? and I only read English and now books in my native language. Besides I read for escapism so I love action and amazing adventures, but books that are only focused on relationships with people? Not so much. Not very good at it lol.

0
Marissa

I have only ever leaked a couple tears for one book and it wasn’t because it was said. It was because something happened that was so sweet. And it was the second book to moon chosen
