Who was the narrator, do you know? I suspect that there are multiple audio versions produced….

Frank McCourt reading “Angela’s Ashes”, lovely Irish lilt and a bit of singing. Will Wheaton reading “Ready Player One”, perfect casting. Jim Dale reading all the Harry Potter books! I loved his Hagrid so much I was hesitant to see the movie because I couldn’t believe anyone could be as wonderful … of course, I was happily wrong.

Hi, my friend @Janet added me. I do love books. Just have a hard time staying away to read them.

Only time I tried an audio book was Harry Potter for a long Drive. Not conducive to driving for sure. For me.

I think that’s the exact title? But Davis only wrote one autobiography, so that should narrow it down!

I love audiobooks and have many favorites, several of which have already been mentioned. Let me add East of Eden read by Richard Poe. Perfect narration. I also recently listened to Wolf Hall and Bring up the Bodies. Both very enjoyable on audiobook. Dark humor really comes through. Also really liked News of the World.

For a novel: Americanah by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. The reader, Adjoa Andoh, was amazing, doing so many distinct accents. It was wonderful. For non-fiction: Not my Father’s Son by Alan Cummings and read by him. Absolutely eye-opening and heart-breaking.
