5 out of my TBR pile because it doesn’t say how long I’d be on the island, and I’d use it like a vacation. Just long enough to spend my time reading and then go back to society.
How to Survive on a Desert Island, The Bible, 100 Ways to prepare Coconut, Lonley and how to conquer it, and How to create musical instruments from Used Coconuts
My huge collected works of Shakespeare to ponder over, a huge fully illustrated book of art history to look at, and the collected works of Jane Austen for pure pleasure.
Hmmm….since we can take collections, I’d take the Game of Thrones collection, the Bible, a survival guide, Mary Shelley’s journals, and….a blind date with a book book. Just for the fun of it.
Hmm, the question doesn’t say that I’m going to be stuck there; maybe I’m just going on vacation. So in that case I’ll just take the next 5 on my TBR: The Bridge on the Drina Leopard at the Door The Book of Viking Myths Butterflies in November Long Walk to Freedom
Are there books on how to build a boat? Cuz I’d take that. 😉
