I liked it. It’s definitely young adult. The characters are pretty good. There’s a pretty big shock in like book 1 but keep reading if you do. I know a lot of people quit after the shock but it gets figured out lol. umm the infernal devices that’s the side series she’s doing to it alright I have a hard time reading them
Will be picking it up later even though I have them all on my ereader. She’s the number 1 most followed author on good reads so there should be a reason lol
I loved the characters and the world-building, but some of the plot was rather predictable. The ending was not predictable, but I felt that it was a rather soap opera-eque twist that you know will be disproved in later books, which really disappointed me. And maybe this changes in the other books (I only read COB) but I could not take the villain seriously. Mostly it was because of his name (Valentine) but I also felt that the book told us he was evil much more than showed us. I know some people who say TMI is their favorite series, so maybe it gets better as the series progresses.

I like the world that she created probably the most.
