Both. I do that with my Kindle/Scribd books. I take a picture of the book cover I have read and I have a notebook I put them in.

I was literally just having this discussion with a friend 🙂 I never thought I’d convert to an Ereader but I started approx 4 years ago and it’s all I read now! I’ve found that I’ve tried way more new authors since reading ebooks than before, mostly because it’s so easy to download a book and a lot cheaper (where I live anyway!) than buying an actual book.

That’s one of the main reasons for me too. Ebooks are much cheaper. My fiancé is a early to bed and I’m a night owl. I like my iPad because I can read in bed without a light bothering him!

Same here Rachel!! My TBR list has grown do much because of the price of ebooks and Bookbub LOL

1
Sherry

Same here! I love a book but with living in the UP it’s so much easier to just download an ebook on my Kindle.

I used to feel bad for books and if they ever stopped existing id be devastated. While I do still feel that way…. The only time I can read is at night, in bed, in the dark.. And, for that I need my kindle. I love it. It’s ease. It’s lack of clutter. It’s easy to hold. So currently, I suppose I prefer my kindle!

I still have entirely too many physical books. I feel like I NEED them. It’s bizarre. I don’t read them.

I moved this summer and my friend helped my put some stuff in my BIL’s basement until my apartment was ready and he was like ‘okay nerd with all the books’ …. than when my apartment was ready my boyfriend helped me and he could have killed me with all the boxes of books …

I should clarify: For academic texts, I prefer having the physical copies cause it’s easier to annotate and such. Personal reading is either/or, though.

All of my classes are online and I pay for digital copies (forced to) I either print out the chapters or get really excited when the format changes and I can highlight directly in the books from my iPad.

Physical book. Although I use my reader when I travel, it just does not have the same feel as holding a book. There is no substitute.

I love my books too much to try a Kindle.

I love curling up in bed with my book and hot water bottle (Winter here in UK, soo cold!!) and just reading until I’m ready to sleep.

Thought nine times out of ten i end up reading until the early hours. Once I’m really into a story i can read for hours.

I enjoy both for different reasons. Nothing beats the feel and smell of a paper book, however, when I travel the weight and size of the Kindle is really convenient . Also, since I’ve run out of bookshelf room (until the day I buy a house) the Kindle saves me space…and no evidence for the husband to find. 🙂

No evidence until he borrows your iPad or Kindle and sees all of your books. Really babe, I can explain. I didn’t pay for most of those books. lol
