I want to like Reading Lolita in Tehran. I heard it’s a powerful memoir and should be read but I’m just not feeling it. I’m a mood reader and I think this isn’t the book for my current mood. I’m going to put it away and try another time.

I almost bought the entire trilogy when I bought the first book. I am so glad I didn’t. Not a thing in that book makes me want to continue the series. And I believe you’re right; every review I read said it was phenomenal? We may be the only two that didn’t care for it! ?
