I read Behind the Beautiful Forevers during a long wait at the Delhi Airport…beautiful, unsettling and haunting. I finished it and left it for someone else to enjoy, but I’m sure I’ll want to revisit it someday.
Nonfiction I’ve read this year: – In Cold Blood by Truman Capote – Positive Parenting by Rebecca Eanes – Between the World and Me by Ta-Nehisi Coates – Real American: A Memoir by Julie Lythcott-Haims – A Beautiful, Terrible Thing by Jen Waite – A Walk in the Woods by Bill Bryson – The Fact of a Body by Alexandria Marzano-Lesnevich – MacArthur’s Spies by Peter Eisner – The Lost City of Z by David Grann – Gone: A Girl, a Violin, a Life Unstrung by Min Kym – The Power of Meaning by Emily Esfahani Smith
I also like the different bands and muscians related to GN’R. L.A. Guns, Izzy Stradlin and the Ju Ju Hounds, Loaded, Velvet Revolver, Buckethead, Nine Inch Nails, Lusk 🙂
The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls. I don’t read much nonfiction, but that one was really, really good.

Not this year (sorry), last year I read ‘Giants: The Dwarfs of Auschwitz by Yehuda Koren & Eilat Negev, interesting read?
Hannah Hart’s autobiography is amazing. I highly recommend it. Same with Anna Kendricks.
