The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls. I don’t read much nonfiction, but that one was really, really good.

I haven’t seen the movie yet either, but definitely want too! I read the book because I had seen the movie previews, and thought it looked good.

The Nature Fix by Florence Williams, The Art of Waiting by Belle Boggs, The Name Therapist by Duana Taha, and Hunger by Roxane Gay. (I’ve read a lot of non-fiction this year, but these are the best.)

Hannah Hart’s autobiography is amazing. I highly recommend it. Same with Anna Kendricks.

I read Behind the Beautiful Forevers during a long wait at the Delhi Airport…beautiful, unsettling and haunting. I finished it and left it for someone else to enjoy, but I’m sure I’ll want to revisit it someday.

Read “An Empire of Wealth” by J.S. Gordon a study of economic history of the U.S. starting with Amer. Rev. to current day. Very, very good

I also like the different bands and muscians related to GN’R. L.A. Guns, Izzy Stradlin and the Ju Ju Hounds, Loaded, Velvet Revolver, Buckethead, Nine Inch Nails, Lusk 🙂
