The Sevenwater Trilogy by Juliet Marillier I found to be absolutely magic infused. Especially the first two books. Ocean at the End of the Lane by Neil Gaiman (actually almost anything by Neil)
@Melinda what a wonderful phrase, “book drunk.” That says it all. Night Circus had so much in it, it was easy to just sink into that book. It’s stayed with me long after I finished it.
The Master and Margarita
Chocolat by Joanne Harris. If you like magic, historical novels, and food it’s a winner!
It’s very well written, love her books
I need to read chocolat
Practical Magic and the Night Circus are good too.

Ocean At The End Of The Lane is one of my all time favorites!
We have wonderful taste! ?
Caraval – I just got the second book in the series from the library and it’s good so far!
The Bear and the Nightingale, followed by The Girl in the Tower, both by Katherine Arden.
I own The Bear and the Nightingale so that’ll be an easy way to start!
@Nicole, it’s sooo good! I like the second one even better. It’s a bit slow to start, but after the first couple chapters, I couldn’t put it down.
I may just start that next! You got me excited about it!

@Rameen finished it last night. If you don’t over analyze things it’s a relaxed and really fun read ?
The Night Circus – I would definitely call it intoxicating!
I LOVED The Night Circus. One of my all time favorites
@Diane Me too, I really got lost in it. I love that feeling when you come away from reading feeling “book drunk”.
I own this book! Going to have to start it soon!
