Lol ya gotta read his older work. Thats where ya gotta start. And a scary read will have to go with Paul Tremblay “A head full of ghost” Peter Straub “Ghost Story” or The Exorcist. But if ya want to start with a SK book go with Pet Cemetary and no its not about pets or Saloms Lot

Don’t know if you have ever heard of Jonathan Maberry. He has a series, Pine Deep. Very creepy, starts with Ghost Road Blues. It is a trilogy. I actually love all his books, but this series has ghosts as well as other creepy things. Great characters, so much fun.

@Julissa I also like his Mars book, young adult but good. He has a new book coming out at the end of the month, Glimpse. Looks really good. New characters.

Ann Rule did a book about haunted places across America that was interesting and creepy. Also podcasts are like mini audio books for me, unless it’s a long car ride cannot so them at all. There’s a podcast from the Parcast network called Tales; and they’re doing Beauty and The Beast and it’s creepy.
