Very good. I read the book before I saw the movie. The ending is odd though.

Least favorite of Flynn’s books but it appears to have gone over quite well with the majority.

Sharp Objects was as awesome as Dark Places

Loved it! It’s crazier (psychologically) than the movie, in my opinion

Hated it. Horrible characters. The story unraveled halfway through.

I struggled with the writing style, but the story and structure were compelling. I’m on my third Gillian Flynn novel.

I liked the storyline but hated the excessive use of vulgar language. I feel like authors just get lazy with creativity when every other word is curse word.

I did not find it very good. Was disappointing when compared to all the good murder mysteries I’ve read that were written by Scandinavian authors. They can not be beaten easily ?
