That’s how I feel about ‘Beloved’. Heart wrenching. I sobbed after the movie ended, for several minutes. I’ve never felt so raw and distraught after a movie, or anything really. And I could never get through the book. I had nightmares everytime I attempted it.

Yes. It surprises me that children read it in school, but they also read Night by Elie Wiesel.
