Paperback or Hardcover? Which one do y’all prefer?Paperback or Hardcover? Which one do y’all prefer? Shevvy #questionnaire
Either as long as I can read it
Paper back xx
Paper back is easier for me to carry around – but I love a hard back when I’m settled in a chair next to the fire….
Either, depends on what the book is about haha. Usually I like paperback but if it’s something I want to keep for a long time, I’ll get hardback.
Depends on cover art and price.
Honestly, depends on what book it is!
I like hard back as the text is bigger so my eyes dont get sore as quick..
Paper back for reading my hands hurt to hold a big book for long
I prefer hardbacks because I can prop them open easier for hands free reading.
For classic literature, I like hardbacks. For more modern stuff, paperbacks work.
Paperback. If it’s a book I really like then I’ll buy it in paperback and hardback
Hardcover to keep, paperback to pass on.?
Of those two choices, hardcover. Overall, e-books.
Paper back ones
If fave author, hardcover otherwise soft/ paperback
Trade size paperback only or hardcover since the print is bigger in both those.
Paperback. Purely because they’re easier to carry around, and there are no dust jackets to remove.
I like soft covers because they are more pliable and hardcovers because they are more durable.
Hardback because they’re more durable.
Not the regular paperback but the bigger versions of it, I absolutely love! Dont hurt my hands holding it
Hardback books ???
Both. Of late though, I’ve sort of gone crazy. I get a Kindle version of the book, and then a hardcover to add to my collection.
I have no children, but I keep adding to my collection thinking I’m going to pass my books on to them.
Have I finally gone batshit crazy?
all, hard, paper, electronic,. audible.
Hard cover, for sure! I always end up ruining the covers of paperbacks on accident???
Hardcover. I like big books and I cannot lie ???
I prefer hardback but have no problem owning or reading either.
Depends on the book. I have gone back and bought a hard cover copy if I really liked a certain paperback. I read both.
I prefer hardcover. They don’t get ruined like the paperbacks do. Although I do have a few paperbacks. I make sure I take extra care of those.
Doesn’t matter. Has pages? Has a story? Win!
Total kindred spirit?
I used to prefer hardcover, but now that my arthritis is getting worse and it’s difficult to hold a heavy book, I prefer mass market paperback
Either as long as i can read it.?
Paperback assuming it’s not mass media size.
Although, I have many of both.
Paperback, although I do own a few hardbacks signed by the authors themselves
hardback but i do paperback too
Paperback. Less costly
Hardback. I have difficulty in holding paperbacks, as I have a weakness in my left hand and I know you think I should get a kindle, but I prefer books!!!
Hardcover only when books really important to me
I prefer both paperbacks and hard covers equally they awesome
Paperback all the time.
I like both but paperback is more convenient to take to the beach ?
Hard cover. I have the pyramid pillow to help hold the book. I am terrible with paperbacks as I kill the spine with the backwards foldover.
Paper back easier to carry
Paperback easier to hold
Don’t care it’s a book
Neither these days. I am visually impaired. If I can’t use an Ebook or Audio book then I don’t get to read any longer and that would break my heart
Ask long as Its got pages…that smell great! I’m good!
Hard cover or oversized paperback. I won’t do the regular paperbacks.
Paperback, so I can bend it, fit in my purse, etc. But hardcover for books I want to keep on my shelf.
Either ☺ but I have to say the floppy versions of paperbacks are so nice to read
