Paper back is easier for me to carry around – but I love a hard back when I’m settled in a chair next to the fire….

Either, depends on what the book is about haha. Usually I like paperback but if it’s something I want to keep for a long time, I’ll get hardback.

For classic literature, I like hardbacks. For more modern stuff, paperbacks work.

Trade size paperback only or hardcover since the print is bigger in both those.

Paperback. Purely because they’re easier to carry around, and there are no dust jackets to remove.

Both. Of late though, I’ve sort of gone crazy. I get a Kindle version of the book, and then a hardcover to add to my collection.
I have no children, but I keep adding to my collection thinking I’m going to pass my books on to them.
Have I finally gone batshit crazy?

Depends on the book. I have gone back and bought a hard cover copy if I really liked a certain paperback. I read both.

I prefer hardcover. They don’t get ruined like the paperbacks do. Although I do have a few paperbacks. I make sure I take extra care of those.
